About Us


The Discipline of Occupational and Environmental Health (DOEH) 
is an academic discipline in the School of Nursing and Public Health, 
College of Health Sciences, University of KwaZulu-Natal. We offer 
sought-after Postgraduate Diploma, Masters and Doctoral programmes 
in Occupational and Environmental Health. These are designed to ensure
your success both locally and internationally.

Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Health - Programme Structure or Outline

POST-GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH
Applications are invited for 2017 admission to the Postgraduate Diploma in
Occupational Health. This programme is intended to provide graduates with
competence in the field of occupational health, skills necessary to render effective,
ethical and quality occupational health services in the private, public and academic
sectors.

Duration
The Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Health is offered over a two year
period on a part-time basis.

Requirements
Applicants should have as a minimum, a Bachelor of Science (Honours) or
equivalent. All applicants must complete and send the necessary application
forms which can be downloaded from http://doeh.ukzn.ac.za/AboutUs.aspx
together with their detailed curriculum vitae as well as a detailed motivation letter
indicating their current or future role in occupational health. Computer literacy is
also a requirement.
