Assistant Administrative Officer

 Biosketch Jabu works in the Discipline of Occupational and Environmental Health as an Assistant Administrative Officer from Africa Centre for Health and Population study. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science, Advance Diploma in Human Resources Management and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management (MBA I). She served as an Executive Committee Secretary for the Development Forum for Umlazi SMME’s for a number of years. She assisted in the establishment, registration and coordinating of the co-operative in the Usuthu area in Ndwedwe.  She has vast experience in training of SMME’s (NGO’s), supervising, facilitating, providing support to Lay counselors, participating in education campaigns, conducting staff training, research data collection, analysis, interpretation and recommendations. 

She also had the opportunity to contribute in Policy & Constitution formulation and development. Executing, planning, implementation and evaluating projects/ programs. She conducted training and workshops for SMME’s. She has experience and skills in presentations and report writing, proposing business ideas and opportunities. She was appointed a Liaising Officer for the organization by the name of Sizwile community project in Umlazi. She is a qualified ‘Train the Trainer’ facilitator, counselor on Trauma and HIV/AIDS for small businesses and has been highly involved in a number of training programmes aimed at developing organisations.
