BioSketch Dr Shumani Phaswana joined the Department in March 2008 after working as a medical officer at the Prince Mshiyeni Hospital. A former registrar in the Discipline, she passed her College of Medicine Examinations in 2013 and is a qualified specialist in Occupational Medicine. Qualifications:MMed (UKZN), MBChB (Cape Town)
